Parks and Recreation Livingston Parish, LaLivingston Parish Parks are the following 7 parks: King George Park, North Park, South Park, Colyell Community Park, North Park, South Park, and West Livingston Park. Major activities such as boating, tubing, and fishing are popular at Lake Maurepas and Lake Pontchartrain. King George Park, North Park, South Park and Colyell Community Park have a golf course, a community swimming pool numerous ball fields and seven tennis courts. North Park is over 110
acres. Located on the on the corner of Eden Church Rd. and Lockhart
Road the park offers a multi-purpose recreational center, golf
driving range, track, tennis courts, pavilions, playground
equipments, soccer fields and baseball/ softball fields. The park
department of Livingston Parish County has chosen this site for all
the athletic programs. Driving Directions to North Park : I-12 Take the Denham Springs exit. Go North 1.8 miles to Hwy. 190/Florida Blvd. - Take a right (East) for 1.8 miles to Eden Church Road. Turn left (North) at the light and go 1 mile. North Park will be on your right. South Park covers around 60 acres. The park is located about two miles south of 1-12 on Vincent Rd. As a family oriented park South Park offers a horse riding arena, outdoor basketball courts, playground equipment and large/small pavilions. Driving Directions to South Park: South Park: I-12 Take the Denham Springs Exit. Go South 1/2 mile to four way stop. Take a right on Vincent Road. Go 3/4 of a mile. West Livingston Park is located within the Denham Springs city limits on the corner of Rodeo Dr. and Summers St. This 11 acre park offers the following facilities: air conditioned community center, playground equipment, outdoor basketball courts, walking track and gymnasium. Driving Directions to West Livingston: I-12 Take the Denham Springs Exit. Go North 1.8 miles to Hwy. 190/Florida Blvd. - Take a right and go one block - take another right - go to stop sign - take a left onto Rodeo Drive. The park is two blocks on the right. District #3 (PARDS) is located in Denham Springs, Louisiana.
PARDS was created by the Livingston Parish Council in 1973
as a separate distinct body whose purpose is to develop,
maintain and operate public park recreational facilities for
all the people of Old Ward 2. The Park Commission:The park Commission sets policies for the operation of the park system. The Commission is composed of seven members:

Sisemore Participant Eligibility:Participants must either attend a school in the Denham Springs school district or live in Old Ward 2 to be eligible for the Summer baseball/softball program and the Biddy Basketball program.
